SIH CONFERENCE

The Society for Intelligence History (SIH), in partnership with the King's Centre for the Study of Intelligence (KCSI), is pleased to announce a call for papers for its annual conference to be held from 11-13 October 2026, hosted at King's College London.

SIH is a leading forum for the advancement of intelligence history. The annual conference provides a setting for exchange between intelligence scholars, practitioners, and students from around the world. This year, SIH is pleased to partner with KCSI, one of the world’s leading centers for intelligence studies, to co-host this year's annual conference.

Graduate student and submissions from early career scholars are particularly welcome. The conference will include opportunities for

graduate students and early career scholars to engage with each other and senior scholars, as well as a workshop to present their research and discuss their career goals.

The submission deadline is 15 March 2026. Please submit all proposals in PDF or Word format to SIH2026Conf@gmail.com

Registration information will be posted this summer.

Accommodation Information

SIH has reserved a limited of block rooms at the Strand Palace Hotel near the conference venue for members attending the 2026 conference. The group rate for these rooms (inclusive of  breakfast and VAT) for 11-14th October is as follows:

Superior Singles - £180

Superior Double for Sole Use - £250
